How to write a Course Description?

You need to give something extra. And to do that, you must identify the core reason. What your course will do for your students? And this can be anything. For example, increase sales, boost their confidence level, make them better people, and so on.

Once you have identified the reason? it is then time to create all your click funnels, social media, and email campaigns around this idea.

The more eyeballs on your course? the higher the chances of generating sales.

But getting quality traffic is a serious concern for the digital marketers of today.

I experienced a funny incident while marketing one of my courses – This one to be exact!

My favorite marketer brought in more sales than the initial price that I paid for his gig. Now the question is are sales under the marketer’s control? To a certain extent YES, and No. Because they can write phenomenal content. And use tested lead magnets, and email a high conversion email list.

But Your course must have:

  1. A good title
  2. An excellent and knowledgeable Instructor
  3. A powerful voice or state-of-the-art audio and video quality
  4. And some educational value

Other than that it is up to chance and luck. You can only market a course keeping the learners intent in mind.

A course is only good if the description is well-written and formatted.

By formatting, I mean bullet points. Who this course is for and an intended learners section. You can add as many sections as you like. The purpose of these sections is to make the user click on your course and start watching. Too short looks unprofessional and too long wastes precious time.
