Don’t use Propeller Ads – A Display and Mobile Advertising Network

This is going to be a propellerads review. I joined this Ad network in 2019-2020 and my experience was pathetic.

Propellerads allows placing ad units on your website – varying options to choose from. You can sign up as a publisher or an advertiser. And you have zero control over the nature of ads that they display.

For example adult products, during that time I had to email them 4-8 times. That is to stop displaying adult content on my website.

Propeller ads will destroy the look and feel of your website. There are other better networks.

The 4 main types of ad networks are:

• Affiliate Advertising Network
• Vertical Ad Network
• Inventory-specific Ad Network 
• Premium Ad Network

You might need to research a few basic things like the size of the advertiser network. You also need to measure the quality of ads and variety in ad formats in the network. 

And during an entire year, I had only earned $0.001 which is better than o.ooo. So you must also revisit the compensation and payment terms. And lastly, the underlying technology.

I can only recommend two Ad networks at this juncture and they are 

• Media.net and 
• Undertone

The end user or reader’s experience is important. Some ad networks would rather compromise the user experience and place more and more ads on your website.

So it is important to select the right ad networks. Because running a successful website is always about a concoction of user experience, engagement time, and aesthetics.

I hope that clarifies my point. If the ads are not hurting the user experience and are proportionately displayed then the website owner may ignore the low ad revenue. It’s all about the end-user experience.
